2022 Francois Carillon Bourgogne Cote d'Or Chardonnay [D94][JM87-90] Wine Type_Fortified and apricot on the palateProducer: Francois Carillon Region: Burgundy, France Varietal: Chardonnay Year: 2022 Decanter, 94 Points "*TOP VALUE* Abundant ripe apple, hawthorn flowers, butter and spice aromas. Dense but not heavy, with plenty of balancing acidity. The grapes come from a half hectare of old vines outside the Puligny village appellation area near the border with Meursault. Superb: an excellent option for a Puligny lookalike crafted with care and precision." Jasper
