Scott Ballew * Paradiso (Blue) [Colored Vinyl] [Limited Edition] (Auto) Soft Rock and funk with contemporary experimentationRecorded live in an old jail in the Trem district of New Orleans, Scott Ballew's 4th LP is his biggest sounding yet. While the focus remains on his layered and cinematic approach to lyrics, the fidelity and arrangements on Paradiso prove to be a fitting new sonic landscape for Ballew's storytelling.
