Domaine Philippe Naddef, Gevrey-Chambertin, Les Champeaux 1er Cru, Vieilles Vignes 1993 Barbaresco lead pencil2. 5cm or better; one with minor signs of old seepage [well within the bounds of natural cork seal, the high levels are a testament to proper storage overall]; PROVENANCE: professional winery cellar of a Napa based collector Allen Meadows in Burghound. com For readers who may not be familiar with the Naddef wines, they are serious, old style Burgundies and tend to be very structured. They are honest, frank and direct if not always models of finesse.
