Old Brass Apothecary Cork Borer vintage mail supplies complete with green alients andI found this in Pennsylvania earlier this summer such an excellent looking object! It is an brass cork borer, early mid 20th century, made for use by labs and apothecaries to bore holes in cork for plugging bottles and vials. There are 15 numbered borers of progressive sizers, one fitting inside the next, and pulling apart as needed. The borers are graduated every 1 16, the smallest will cut a 1 8 hole and the largest cut a 13 16 hole. 8 3 4" l x 2 3
