This is a great genuine unissued 1944 dated M21A1 Green Signal Flare still housed in its original cardboard transit tube. These are designed to be fired from a M1 rifle, to a height of 200 to 300 meters. The flare will then hang from a small parachute and float to the ground while illuminating a large area. Measures approximately 1' long and 2" in diameter. Like all ordnance, this flare is Not Available for Export.
