Sweet Little Carved Wooden Bird with Blue-Gray Paint (No Legs) MoMA I am not a connoisseur

I am not a connoisseur of art glass

It is in very good condition

the larger one a bit fatter than the smaller

These might just be my favorite miniature wooden chairs I’ve ever found

and both have small holes in their bases

Sweet Little Carved Wooden Bird with Blue-Gray Paint (No Legs) MoMA I am not a connoisseurJust a sweet little bird to perch somewhere, which is does just fine despite (or maybe better because of) having lost its legs. I might guess German, but don't know for certain; I really like the form and disposition of it, looking gentle and curious, with tiny carved circles for the eyes and a pointy little pale yellow beak. A perfect shade of light gray with a bit of blue in it, making it almost baby blue, which is lost here and there, more on one
