I love its staight-foward elegance and wonderful patina

which included everything from shaker furniture to antique tools to mid-century modern art and ceramics

but I have discovered a number of other ceramic pieces he made

but if using this on a day to day basis I think it is better without it

all the better for the patterns of dots and waves that animate it and the little red bow holding his hat in place
