I'd hang it on the wall straight away

though mostly with the help of turning the handle

(And it will hold in the "up" position when stood on end.) I love a tower whimsy, and a modular sculpture, and this feels to me like the Sol Lewitt of whimsies! 7 1 4" t x approx 1 1 4" x 1 1 4". Excellent condition, beautifully executed, mid 20th century I presume.
