Germany, Weimar Republic. A German Confession Cross Auction Murphy served in the latter(Deutsches Bekenntnis Kreuz). A straight armed cross paty constructed of bronze and enamels, the centre bears the inscription Treue dem Vaterland on a red enamel background, the arms are white enamel with black enamel borders, the reverse is plain, with double suspension ring, measuring 42. 37 mm (w) x 47. 08 mm (h), very fine.
