flanked on the left by a machine-embroidered black shield bearing a Teutonic Order-style cross with each arm completing in a fleur de lys
the obverse bears two decorated intertwined mirrored “G”s with a crown at the top
Montenegro, Kingdom. A Medal For Zeal, Ii Class Silver Grade, C.1900 certificate_of_authenticity Constructed of copped bronze(Medalja za revnost). Instituted in 1895. Type II with Roller Suspension. In silver, unmarked but known to have been manufactured by Vincent Mayer, measuring 30. 3 mm in diameter, bruised, edge nicks, large nick below the bust on the obverse, on a replacement ribbon with hook and eye, better than fine.
