in turn circumscribed by a raised gilt inscription of “SUUM CUIQUE” (“TO EACH THEIR OWN”)

It would remain in service until the summer of 1942

original red wax seal separated when opened by the recipient but remains intact

Constructed of iron and silver, consisting of a Cross Patte with a blackened magnetic iron core within a ribbed silver frame, the obverse with a central mobile swastika, the six oclock arm with a reinstitution date of 1939, the reverse with a barrel hinge and banjo style pinback meeting a flat wire catch, the pinback maker marked with Prsidialkanzlei code 26 for B. H.
