An Allgemeine SS Visor Cap Totenkopf Insignia, First Pattern consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac the interior of the lid(Allgemeine SS Totenkopf fr die schwarze Schirmmtze). Constructed of silvered tombak, the obverse consisting of a first pattern jawless Danziger style Totenkopf, the reverse retaining both attachment prongs, unmarked, measuring 32. 20 mm (w) x 30. 30 mm (h), demonstrating some loss of silver finish to the base metal, in near extremely fine condition.
