Turkey, Ottoman Empire. An Order of the Medjidie, V Class, c. 1900 Archive A 1938 DAF (Deutsche Arbeitsfront/German( Mecd Nin, Beinci Snf). In silver with gold center and suspension, star has seven triple quills with small crescents and stars between each quill, obverse shows Sultan Abdul Mejids royal cipher surrounded by an inscription, inclusive of crescent moon suspension 78 mm (h) x 55 mm (w), bearing the hallmarks of the Ottoman mint, on a replacement ribbon, near mint condition. Footnote: The Order of the Medjidie was a military and knightly order of the
